At your friendly nieghborhood Braum's.....
The long night of work was almost over for Amber. The long day of taking orders, making shakes, and delaing with the custemer's stupidity. The time seem to just slowly go by know matter how busy it was. Well, the day was done and it was closing time.
"Amber ain't you done with work yet?" a very short woman with way too much make up yelled across the store.
"Shut up lynda, I'm almost done!" Amber yelled back at her very annoying co- worker. Amber tryed hard to remove the stains of of the non-natural brown floor, but it was a lost cause.
"I give up! No matter how hard I try it won't get clean." she threw the mop on the ground, washed her hands, grabed her stuff, and headed out the door.
"I see ya tommorow Lynda." she said as she went out the doors.
The parking lot was usly dark, but the moon was so big and bright and made the stars look like little fireflys in the sky.
"Beautiful!' she breathed out looking straight up to the sky. she then agian began her journey to her car. Suffling slowly she then spotted something, by the door of her car was a ring, a very pretty ring. Amber picked up the ring, she turned the ring this way and that to see if the were any engravings on it. There was only a vine like leaf patteren on it. The ring seem to glow in the moon light, like it was calling to her.
"Pheh..." she sorted and stuffed the glowing ring into her pocket.
"It's probly just a 25 cents ring anyway." she said quietly to herself while unlocking her car door and getting in. She then turned on the car an headed for home.
At Home.......
Quietly opening the door, she layed her keys on the table. All the lights were off except from the kitchen. She shut and locked the door. Then very softly she made her way to her room.Creeping slowly into her dark room and being very careful not to trip over anything she went to turn on her bed post light. The creeping wasn't succesful and she soon tripped over a stuffed bunny falling flat on her face.
"OW!" she shouted but then quickly covered her mouth. Looking to the right she stuggled to see movement..... there was none.
"Phew" she said softly. Her 6 year old sister didn't wake up. Getting back up she again attemped to reach the light again. It was succecfull.
Taking of her uniform she put on a black tank top that had picture of a overweight bunny and words that says "I had 3 bunnys but, two of them must have runned away or something." and a pair of trix pajamas pants. Taking a brush and running it though her very long dark orange hair. Then remembering that if she dosen't take out everything in her pocket her mom would wash it. Reaching in her uniform pants she pulled out the pretty ring. It still seems to glisen when she touched it.
"I wounder if it fits?" she quietly asked herself. She slipped the ring on. it seemed to fight her just ring. Then all of the sudden the ring glowed a bright purple. swirling light circled Amber. The room started to swirl.......... then eveything went black...................
