The pounding on his door brought Snape to his door. Excitement made his pulse race, but he schooled his face in its normal pinched look.
"Why do you insist on pounding on the door if you're going to sneak down here?" Snape said as he closed the door behind the brightly colored woman. "Or sneak at all, given the new look."
Tonks grinned mischievously at him through a mane of pink hair, looking him over with starkly violet eyes.
"Don't like?" she asked, plopping down on a chair, her legs thrown over the arm, giving him a view of her little body. He liked, and his eyes told her so.
"You're late."
"Yeah.Remus was over and he was hard to get rid of."
His eyes narrowed. "Remus Lupin?"
"The one and only."
"About to be the none and bloody," Snape growled.
Tonks smiled playfully. "He looked ok when I last saw him," she said with a positively innocent look.
"The night's young," he bit out as he stormed out the door.
Surprised, Tonks leaped up and threw open the door to chase him. Snape in the doorway with a smirk and grabbed her, kissing her passionately.
"Ass."
"Wench."
"Lover."
"Mmmm."
