Chapter Three: Arctic wind

Her cold glare first set upon me,

And I cowered in fear,

One of the earth's special forces,

Scared of the blond haired girl,

She has a fiery temper,

And is very cynical at times,

Though in the end when I'm down,

I know she'll be kind,

We have a young daughter,

She's part of my pride and joy,

18 now show's emotional compassion,

But hides it from the world,

Forever wanting to remain icy,

Never letting go of her past,

Forced into being a robotic killer,

Just plucked from the streets like a stray,

Though now she doesn't have to live like that,

We have each other and something more,

A love that is unbreakable,

And a bond that will hold us more,

She may be a bit sarcastic,

Or mock people most of all,

Though those are the main qualities,

I loved about her all along,

Still as I stand outside,

And plunge into the ocean's water,

I feel an arctic wind,

Icy and cold like her,

Yet welcoming and loving in the same…
