Becoming

All my life, I have dwelled in darkness.
Yet, I have never feared it.
It was Necessity - a part of my existence. Survival.
Light should have never pierced my world for I am now damned to far worse. For eternity.
I am abandoned to the demons becoming - that become … me.
…Fin.
Author's Note: A Vincent half-drabble, or 50-word piece, vignette-style. It's pretty simple though there is some play on the title/last words. It's kind of subtle, so it's all right if you didn't get it. The "Light" can symbolize two things. Hint: Words/names that begin with 'L'.
