SOLDIER-Ninja

AN: Behold. What may be the first Naruto FF7 crossovers on the net. This fic takes place during the Zabuza arc in Naruto. FF7 characters won't show up in this story, with the possible exceptions of Yuffie, Vincent and Sephiroth. Why? Because Yuffie and Vincent rock, and Sephiroth is just plain cool.
Prologue: In Dreams
The two figures stood facing each other, weapons drawn and ready to spill the others blood. The shorter one suddenly exploded in a burst of motion, moving so fast that he (Was it a he?) seemed to blur, slashing at his opponent so fast that it was nigh impossible to count them all. The barrage ended with a powerful downward slash that ended both the fight and the others life.'What am I doing here? Who are they? Why are they fighting?'
There was a brilliant flash of light and suddenly the scene changed. Now there was a huge ball of burning fury heading straight towards the ground, fully capable of wiping out all life on the planet. But a burst of White light came from the very earth itself and began to push against the meteor, it seemed that the planet wasn't ready to die just yet. "What happened? What's going on? Does this tie into the other bit in some way? And why am I seeing this?'
Another flash of light and the scene changed yet again. Now there was a pitch black void on all sides, total nothingness. A noise caused him to whip around just in time to see the razor sharp blade descending onto his head.
Naruto came back to the land of the waking with a shock, barely holding back a fear-filled scream. He saw the other members of Team 7 standing near by, obviously worried about him. "Um. Why are you guys looking at me like that?"
"You were thrashing around in your sleep, muttering something about a meteor. Sakura called you three times but you didn't wake up." Replied Kakashi in an even tone.
"What's wrong Naruto, what was that dream about?"
"Nothing, just forget about it, Sakura-chan"
"Great, Mr. Dead-last is having nightmares. Like we need anything else on top of this nightmare mission."
"Shut up Sasuke, I don't need or want your comments on this."
"Forget about dreams for now, we still have to get our client to his home first. Then we can talk about Narutos nightmares."
"Yes Kakashi-sensei." Answered the rest of team 7. And with that they were on the move again, letting Naruto think about his strange dream.
'It didn't feel like a dream, more like someone, or something, wanted me to see that.'
