This is me FireSoul04 again. I wrote this poem I hope you like it; please give me comments
and questions.
To Be 'In love'
Rei sat on the side of her bed watching Serena sleeping.
Rei smiled as she watched her girlfriend sleep peacefully. Yes Serena and Rei are
dating they have been for awhile now. Serena broke up with Darien because she couldn't keep her feelings
for Rei to herself anymore. Darien wasn't all too happy but all Darien's really ever cared
about was Serena's happiness. So Darien let Serena go and tell Rei about her
feelings towards Rei. And two days later Rei and Serena started going out. O.k.
now back to my story. As Rei watched Serena sleep she started to get an idea for a poem
on how she feels towards Serena.
Rei wrote the poem and after she decided to wake up her sleeping girlfriend.
When Serena fully woke up she noticed the poem in Rei's hand.
Then Serena asked, "What's in your hand Rei." Rei replied, "Nothing Sere."
Serena didn't by it but said, "o.k. if ya say so Rei." Then Rei and Serena got dressed,
ate, then left their apartment to go to there afternoon classes. When they both got home
from doing there errands Rei showed Serena the poem.
"I know it's not that good, but I mmmmm." Serena kissed Rei passionately and led Rei
to their bedroom. Up in heaven angels where smiling at the poem Rei wrote:
Although I have gone beyond right and wrong,
I have gone to what is pure and real.
With every breath I breathe, it tightens at the
Beauty of knowing what it feels like to be 'in love'.
And, although the pain of being away from you
It is so overwhelmingly hard to bear.
I have felt love,
I have held you,
I have toughed you.
With a touch that can only be felt
Or given with entire intensity,
As the touch that can only to you, and the touch
You shared with me.
A thousand feelings engross me.
Feelings that is indescribable, yet, so fiercely strong,
And ruling to my very essence.
Should I have?
I can ask myself that a million times.
Should I have met you?
I thought that meeting you would free my desire for you.
But it has only amplified the deepest love
That comes from within me, for you baby.
And yet, with all this love I feel inside
There is also a hidden sadness,
A sadness that promises no one tomorrow,
That leaves your heart open
With amazing clarity of want
But closed to know if it will ever be
Reunited again.
So with this I must tell you
That I have loved you as I never loved another.
I have shared not just my soul
But who it is I am.
And no matter where our lives take us.
You and I have been to a place that
Is ours forever
To be 'in love'
