well, i was watching TTT (for like the 60th time lol) and it got to
the part about Helm's Deep. so... I decided to write a poem about Haldir. Review please!
the elvish translations are:
namarie- farewell,
mellon nin- my friend,
Tenna' ento
lye omenta- untill our next meeting

May you travel far,
Beyond the seas,
And out of this dark land.
Into the light,
Into the truth,
With victory in your hand.
You've traveled far,
You have fought hard,
And now it's time to rest.
Let your passing
Through the halls of mandos
Be completely blessed.
You were strong,
And you were brave,
And we shall mourn your leave.
But your song
shall allways be sung
On every wonderous eve.
Never forgotten,
Never really lost,
Never forever gone.
Allways rememberd,
Allways here watching,
Allways singing through the dawn.
