(Ran stood looking out of the Mouri Detective Agency window, the cool autumm breeze blowing at her hair and she heaved a sigh.)
If I see you next to never

(She watched as people get their business done before the evening came, people laughing as their friends tell them jokes and children still at play. All of this made her feel lonely.)

(Ran let her mind wander to the times she and Shinichi were together, the time they met when they were kids, the time both of them were in elementary, junior high and high school till that time were Shinichi last left her at the amusement park.)

(Shinichi when are you coming back?, Ran thought in her mind as tears start to fill her eyes.)

(Shinichi on the other hand, who was still Conan, was on his way back to Mouri's agency when he spotted Ran looking out of the window with tears flowing freely from her eyes. Shinichi felt a stab of pain and guilt as he saw Ran crying. I'm sorry, Ran, he said in his mind.)
I wonder how we can survive
This romance
But in the end if I'm with you
I'll take the chance
(Ran knew crying won't help bring Shinichi to her side but she couldn't help it. Then her cellphone rang. Ran rushed to get it.)
