InuYasha sighed deeply, and looked at the wounded Kagome, she had jumped infront of the blow, Naraku gave. But somtimes he wondered about this girl, she looked
like Kikyou in the face, but her soul, their soul was so different now, Kagome seemed to be happy all the time care for him like no one else had. He still loves Kikyou
dearly but he loved Kagome more, more than life, more than Kikyou, he wanted to prove it, just finding out how is the question. No use going to Miroku the perverted
monk, or Sango she would probally spill it, Shippou he's out of the question. He couldn't wait for Kagome to get better again.
Around Midnight Kagome began to stur. "Where am I?" "In Keade's hut." "InuYasha, are you alright?" "I should be asking you that question." "I'm fine." then
winced in pain. "Right, sure you are, Kagome what was you thinking out there today." "Well umm," she blushed. "I didn't want you to get hurt again because of me."
"I can take it." she gave her pouty lip. "So can I!" InuYasha chuckled. "I know you can, but after all you are only human, I can't die remember the demon blood in me
maybe if I would have took the blow I would have killed Naraku with my demon blood, since he's only a mere half demon." "Or you could have killed me, Sango,
Miroku, Shippou, Kiria," she paused looking at him with loving eyes. "No one can stop you when your like that, not even your brother can barely contain you. Your
scary.. .. ... .. for the first time I was scared of you, I didn't feel safe with you at all." he looked at her with an apologetic look in his golden eyes. "You know I'll
always be there for you Kagome, I will always protect you I want you to feel safe with me." Kagome smiled and nodded. "Are we alone?" she said blushing. "Yeah."
She sat up carefull, and scooted onto InuYasha lap. InuYasha face grew bright red. "Kagome?" "hmnn.." "What are you doing?" she giggled. " I want to be close to
you InuYasha." he smiled, and gently wrapped his arms around her, Kagome made this purring noise causing InuYasha to laugh. "Are you a cat," "Yes, and I tammed
a scarry dog demon." He laughed. "When you get better you'll regret those words." she gently smiled. "I'll look forward to it." Kagome was caught of gaurd when
she felt a gentle kiss on the cheek. "A kiss?" "Yeah, umm don't you want me to kiss you." she stood up pulling *her* dog demon with her. "You do it like this." she
put her arms around him and stood on her tip toes and gave him a kiss full on the mouth, after a while the kiss started to deepen he licked her lips asking entrence,
and she gave it to him, he loved exploring her mouth. The kiss broke they both gasping for air. They smiled at each other. He leaned close to her ear. "You know if
you where better this could turn into something more." she giggled. "Oh InuYasha you are begging to sound like Miroku." He blushed. "Am NOT your MY Mate .. .."
Kagome starred into his big golden eyes. "Yes," was all she could say. They layed back down. And fell asleep in each others arms.
InuYasha woke up and blushed, their hair was mixed, their legs where tangled together and she was curled into his chest, his arms around her waist, and he LOVED
it.
