Spike sighed as he slowly puffed on his nearly done cigarette. Faye was
somewhere shopping, as they had set the bebop down for a little while. 'Who
knows how much she will spend this time' he thought. Most likely our whole
bounty money from that one guy..Mr. Shulitzwiser someone.. He sat up, from
the lazy position he had been on the couch, and sighed once again.
Nothing to do, nothing to do, and, once again, nothing to do. "Damn! I knew I never should have let Faye take all that money. Now I don't have any.."
"Ohhhhh!!! Spike-y wackier-y! Is spike-y having fun-ie? Ed ed ed be a wolf! Woof! Oooo"
"Man, Ed, Don't you have anything else to do except bug me?"
"Oh.Ed bored! Ed hungry-Y!"
"Well, that's not my problem" Ed made a face, his puppy dog eyes wider than spike had even remembered. Small sniffles started to surface, and Spike groaned. "FINE.does Ramen noodles sound good?" Ed pouted. "Ramen make Ed stomach hu-rt" Spike rolled his eyes. "What ever, come on, Brat, lets go get some chicken."
Faye Smiled at the old man sitting next to her at the bar. He had gotten pretty drunk, and was jabbering about how he owned half the Hilbert hotels from a lucky card game, obviously trying to impress her. Old men, She thought, slightly annoyed. Would do almost anything for a screw these days. Well, who knows? What if he wasn't bluffing? She quickly scanned the back of his pants discreetly, and her eyes widened. The mans pocket looked like it was stuffed with hundred dollar bills, two inches deep, cut in half. A tip of one of the bills had surfaced, and she wondered why he did have a wallet. Either her stole that money, or he doesn't trust to spend it. Well, I might as well see if he'll give in to sweet talk..
"Bartender, another one on the rocks, and quick." She smiled at the man, making it as flirtatious as she could without making it look like she was begging for a quick buck. "You want me to?" She asked, leaning forward, her hand resting on his lap, smiling and batting her eyes. "huh..Wha? Sure! Heh heh!" He grinned at her, and then faced the bartender. " Do you here this girl? She asked me if I want to! Heh heh heh!" Faye resisted the temptation to roll her eyes. "Yea, right. Nice shot boy, what I meant is that do you want a drink, on me? Then maybe we can go over to my hotel where you can tell me a little more about yourself..hmm?" She nodded to the bartender, who after a quick shot to the old man, shrugged and went off to get another Shirley.
