In the lab on the lonely mountain, a generator sits quietly waiting for its next attack. Once, long ago, a scientist named Prof. Henry Knatz came to this un-inhabited planet and tried to come up with a way of speeding up evolution. He experimented on poor souls of creatures from the planet and was pleased with the results that his generator would definitely speed up evolution. One particualily stormy night, the scientist had a creature (the last one before he was to return to the gaseous, poisonous, freezing planet that was earth) that was evolving so quickly it soon got to large and cramped for the tube. This creature was growing so rapidly relative to its surroundings that the scientist had to stop the process and see how the creature reacted to life. The professor drained the green liquid from the tube and the huge thing fell out. Knatz shocked it with a large stick of plastic with electricity running through the end. The creature stirred at the jolt and got up, flashing his glowing yellow eyes around the room. It's gaze landed on the professor as the creature realized it was blood-thirsty and hungry, and the creature ran with teeth barred and claws out, and hit head first into a sturdy piece of glass. He growled, a low menacing growl that emitted through the concealed glass room. The professor straightened his laboratory coat and beckoned two large muscular men forward with him towards the glass where the creature was pacing. He smiled, a handsom, intelligent smile.
"Hello there" he said to the creature, it stopped pacing and listened intenitivly. "Now what shall we call you?, Something that sounds feirce..." he muttered to himself, explaining different traits that the the name should have. Finally, after discussing it with his henchmen (which weren't too bright but better than being alone on the planet) he decided on a name and walked back up to the glass, tapping irritatably on it.
"I have decided on a name for your species, how about Xnarr, Yes? I thought so" he focused more hard on the creature, but all it did was swish its long tail.
Several more days of testing on the poor Xnarr proving positive to all the tests such as, Male or Female , which proved Male, Blood Type and such. One a warm night there was a power surge from a mysterious bolt of lightning on the Lab. The mechanics in the building went haywire and started opening doors and typing random letters on the main computer, Knatz shouted down the sleeping quarters for the henchmen but they were stupid and did not wake. Then the Giant room of the Xnarr opened and awakened the sleeping Creature, It's reflexes to a it's opened door were quick and it pounced from its spot through the door and rounded on Knatz, Hatred pumping through his veins. He ran stunningly fast at the professor and threw him into the air with a strong toss from his powerfull head. Knatz landed in a metal cage and the door automatically closed. Knatz was trapped. The two Henchmean came running through the hall like blind men in the darkness. The Xnarr stood and let them come, straight forward into his deadly claws. After killing both Henchmen were killed Gruesomly and the Xnarr had fed, He Studied the Lab with Interest untill spotting a small red button labelled "Sheild". The Xnarr destroyed the whole inside of the lab except for that small red button. There was something about it that seemed to powerfull to resist. With two great wings from his back he took flight from a porch in the lab into the cool night air and a name came to him. Omnibus , leader of shadows, King.
