A little Pent Up Aggression

Buffy smiled. Her entire world, actually her entire town was a crater. The town along with... Reality check. She beat The First. The only reason they were all alive was because of Spike. He died-

"Buffy, what are we going to do? I've asked like five times." Buffy turned around to face Willow.

"Willow. I want you to know that I'm saying this as your best friend."

"Sure Buff, what is it?"

"Shut up!"

Willow looked shocked and hurt all at the same time.

"Great," Buffy thought, "Here comes Kennedy to "protect Willow."

"Who gave you permission to talk to her like that?"

Kennedy crossed her arms and straightened her posture. She looked Buffy in the eye and tried to look menacing. Willow grabbed her shoulder to tell her to step down but Kennedy was too stubborn.

"Stay out of this. I just defeated The First Evil I'd like a little time."

"You? I believe that we all defeated The First. Besides I think it was Willow's big spell that saved our butts."

"Hello, Kennedy. Were you down there? Spike saved us, we would have lost if it wasn't for his sacrifice."

Buffy was ticked off. For seven years she protected the world and now she could finally share the torch and all the rest off them and all they could do is ask her what to do next. She was going to blow up. Maybe she should warn them. Nah, this was going to be fun.

" If you would have had your way I would have left town last week. Do you remember when my best friends and my little sister kicked me out of my own house? That's some thanks for all I've done for you. And I am not lucky for being chosen to do this; I'd say I'm very unlucky. Have any of you ever had the pressure of the weight of the world on your shoulders for seven years running? I-"

Giles cut in, " Buffy, we understand that you're upset. Losing Spike for some unfathomable reason must have had some affects on your well-being."

"Losing Spike? You and Robin tried to kill him! For the "greater good", what ever that is. And were would be if you had, hum? You'd be dead. All of you would be."

This time Xander butted into her rant, " Angel would have worn the amulet. We'd be in the exact same situation."

"No, we wouldn't, Xander. Spike was the only one of all of you who never doubted me. I lost sight of my calling but he reminded me. He lifted me up when I thought that I would never rise again. And if Giles and Robin had killed him, I would have given up."

"Then you would have had Faith to led you. Not the best choice. I seem to remember having to rescue her and the potentials after her plan sucked. I also did it with the Scythe that I got from Caleb. So without me Willow wouldn't have had anything to work with for her spell or the idea to do it."

"So it's understandable that I'm fed up the group forgive and forget routine because I haven't forgotten. There are hundreds of Slayers all over the world so it does not fall to me anymore. I am not the One who has to listen to the whining and the desperate need of advice anymore."

After a brief pause, "Now everyone get on the bus. We're going to L.A."
