I looked at the little girl I was to deliver to the orphanage. Her
skin. an odd color. As if it was glowing. a greenish hue. Like those stars
a child would put up in his room. I wondered, how come her skin is like
that? For now, the girl was asleep. A freak accident, that's all it takes
to get a mere child shunned from her village. I sighed sadly.
"HUU! Susso, tuh'd mad dras tu drec du sa!!"
I jerked my head back. The child was having a nightmare again. I stopped the van, and I jumped into the back. The child was awake.
"Yrr! Bmayca tuh'd rind sa!"
I thought, then responded," Tuh'd funno, meddma uha. E femm hud rind oui. Lusa rana." I gestured with my hands, as if to emphasis what I am saying.
"Yna oui cina?"
I nodded, then looked into my pouch. Ah-ha! I got a few animal crackers, then handed it to her. She grinned, and got a cracker from me.
"Fryd'c ouin hysa, lremt?" I asked.
Swallowing a bit of the cookie, she responded, "Shego"
I smiled. The flower child. Pretty name. Was she born in the springtime?
"Fryd'c ouinc?"
My name? It formed at the mouth, as I said,"Drew. Drew Lipsky"
I bundled her in a spare fleece coat, handed her a mug of hot chocolate, got myself coffee, and I sat her in the passenger seat. I got to the driver's seat, and I started driving to the nearest village.
I yawned as I pulled up to the village. I checked my watch. 5:00 am, and the village was already hustling. Well, maybe because it's the holiday season!, I thought. My boots crunched in the snow as I walked around to Shego's side. I shook her, them she rose to a state of consciousness.
"Susso?"
"Hu, Drew."
"Ur, kuut sunhehk, Drew."
" Kuut sunhehk du oui, duu"
I got her out of the seat, and I gave her mittens, and other proper kids winter wear, and Shego and I head out to the village. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
As we trundled into the village, Shego is tired out, and wants a piggyback ride. I give her one, and we march off to the closest militia base. People are staring at us, as carry Shego, and Shego proudly waving at the people.
"Muug yd dryd vnayg, netehk ydub yh Ysanelyh!"
A native mutters, and shields her children away from me.
Shego sighed, and asked me," Fro tu dra ryda sa?"
I sighed, and let her down. Shego reluctantly got off, and held my hand as I got near the base. I saluted at the guard-watchman.
"Sgt. Andrew Lipsky reporting"
The guy (his name is John) smiled as he saw Shego.
"Tuh'd mad res kad du oy, tayn."
Shego giggled, and I smacked John on his head. He winced, and let me in.
I called back," See ya at the mess, later!"
I heard a distant echo, as John replied" Laters, dude!" ^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*
TBC Soo. whaddya think? The language Shego's speaking will be revealed in the next chapter. I can't post the translations too, for that matter.
