Title: A Ray of Light and Hope
Disclaimer: I own nothing that looks even remotely familiar. Everything belongs to J.K. Rowling. I am not trying to steal her plot or take credit her work.
Pairing: Hermione Granger and Ginny Weasley.
Rating: PG
Warning: This is femslash (girl/girl love). If you don't like it, don't read it. This is your only warning.
Author's Note: A small Hermione/Ginny ficlet that I wrote while sitting on the beach of Florida. Rather short, but quite cute in my personal opinion. I hope you like it. Reviews are appreciated.

Unkempt, and bushy brunette curls. Large brown eyes that shine with intelligence and concern. And a smile of pure bliss. She's a ray of light and hope. She gave Ginny the security that she needed. She was always by Ginny's side whenever she needed any kind of help with friends or school. She was always there when Ginny needed a shoulder to cry on. And Ginny was certain that she would always be there for her. Hermione was her solace, and true soul mate. Ginny loved everything about her from her delicately soft skin to her delicious mouth that tasted of strawberries. Hermione was a wonderful friend, whom Ginny loved with the passion of a thousand burning suns.
Straight and shiny red locks. Twinkling brown eyes of mischief. And sweet freckles sprinkled across the bridge of her nose. She's a ray of light and hope. She gave Hermione the love that she needed. Whether it was a quick peck on the cheek, or a passionate kiss on her soft, pink lips, she was always eager to show Hermione how much she truly loved her. Ginny was her angel and true friend. Hermione loved everything about her from her warm and loving touch to her soft hair that felt like the finest silk. And Hermione was certain that she would always be there for her. Ginny was a wonderful friend, whom Hermione loved with the passion of a thousand burning suns.
Their love was a ray of light and hope in a dark world, surrounded by death and war. No matter how dark the world became Hermione and Ginny's love shone bright like a thousand burning suns.
