Disclaimer – Yep, another poem! As the Title suggests, this one would be about Arwen, but its only brief, I warn you now. Anyways, I hope you like it! ^_~

Lady Arwen Evenstar

In Elder Days there lived a maid,
A child of evening star,
By far most fair and free she was,
Dancing and glimmering from afar.

Now Elder Days have long since passed,
The Noldor sail away,
And evil blackness covers land,
Shadowing the Day.

Yet elven maid is born once more,
The last of her people to be,
And fair as Lúthien, her kin of old,
She shimmers like the sea.

The Lady Arwen Evenstar,
A shining ray of light,
Clinging onto failing hope
That day will conquer night.

Yet when the war and fighting's done,
When lands are free from pain,
A choice the Lady Arwen shall make -
To leave or to remain.

Her father bids her "Come with me!
Unto the Undying Lands.
Sail away from this war-torn world;
Leave these Mortal strands."

But the Evenstar, she will not go
And leave Middle-Earth to its fate,
For now she loves a mortal man,
Much to her fathers distaste.

Now the battle at last is won,
And the Noldor have sailed to the West,
And though the Evenstar shines no more,
Her and her love at last lie at rest.

So, we like, we buy? ^_~  I've always quite liked this one personally, but I wouldn't trust me if I were you… =D
