"Hunter I need you, come over to my house quickly." After I sent my witch message I went downstairs, my heart still beating furiously. I sank down on the sofa and closed my eyes. After a while I finally felt Hunter's presence and I walked to the door to receive him.
"Hey what's wrong?" He kissed me on my lips, then stood back and looked at me with a frown.
"Come through, I'll tell you." We sat down and I snuggled into his chest. "I had a nightmare, well vision. I know that that sounds really lame, but it really did scare me. It was Ciaran. He told me that he was disappointed that I'd planted the watch sigil on him, and that he was going to come visit me to talk about it. Then the vision changed and I saw him casting a spell. He was with Amyranth, I saw their masks, and they're the same people as before. I don't think that I was meant to see that bit though, because the vision ended really abruptly and I woke with a start."
"I think that you should expect to see him sometime soon then." Hunter said, smoothing down my hair.
"How can you say that, Hunter?"
"I can say that because you don't want me to lie, do you? I'm not going to say that you shouldn't worry, but I don't think that he'll hurt you just yet. Anyway, you've got me, we're in this together."
A smile lit up his chiseled face. He held me close and sighed in my ear, which tickled. I giggled, which broke the tense atmosphere. He stretched and uncurled himself off the sofa.
At the door I gave him a long kiss.
"Thank you for coming, I'm sorry I got you up," I said, noticing his tousled hair for the first time.
"That's ok." He turned and got into his car, smiling as he drove off.
