AN: This is my first attempt at a fic so. rather than being kind please
tell me if I'm doing anything horridly wrong. This was originally an
attempt at the hundred word challenge but. I failed miserably at that. I'm
too much of a babbler.

Kouga smirked over at his struggling opponent. "I have you now Wind User. There's no way you can beat me in a match like this."
Kagura glared at him through sweaty bangs. "Don't forget wolf boy," she huffed, "I've kicked your tail every other time we've met. This time won't be any different." 'However,' she grimaced, 'he does seem to have the upper hand this time. I've got to find some way to turn the tables."
The wind sorceress's eyes suddenly lit with malicious inspiration and Kouga's cocky expression quickly turned into one of apprehensive confusion. He yowled as she dug her sharp nails into his flesh. She pinned her opponent and smoothly proclaimed, "I win".
As the elemental began to saunter away Kouga shouted, "Hey, that's not fair! You cheated!"
Kagura called over her shoulder, "Remember wolf boy. All's fair in love and thumb wars."
