A/N: Hey y'all! Here's another little out-take thing! This is how I like to think J.K. Rowling first came to the idea for the Harry Potter series, I also got the idea to do this from Biography: J.K. Rowling that came on A&E.this kinda comes from how they described her inspiration for it.hope ya like!

The landscape is beautiful, especially when we are traveling so fast, the colors blur and blend, making a sea of ever changing green.
As I sit, staring out the window of my compartment, I can't help feeling a bit nervous. As if I'm waiting for something to happen, and change my life forever. It sounds crazy, but it's as if when this train pulls into the station, I'm going to be a different person.
As Joanne Rowling sat, pondering her thoughts, a boy of about 17 years in a black robe with a scarlet and gold tie was sweeping up the aisle.
He strolled past her compartment. As he past, he briefly turned to her, with a small smirk on his lips and a twinkle in his eye. In the few seconds he faced her, she could see that he had dazzling green eyes behind round glasses and a curiously shaped cut on his forehead, like a bolt of lightning, under untidy black hair.
As he walked on, Mrs. Rowling's mind was buzzing with questions and ideas. She wanted to talk to him, find out about his life and past. But as she went after him, he had disappeared.
"I didn't even get his name." She sighed in a defeated voice.
Standing there, she felt a comforting hand on her shoulder.
"It's Harry, Harry Potter."
She turned just in time to see herself reflected in his blazing green eyes, before he vanished. While she stared at the place where he had stood moments before, she suddenly became aware of another world. A world of wonder, of magic, and most importantly, a world of the power between good and evil.
