A/N: I came up with this Yu-Gi-Oh! songfic after listening to the new KoRn album on my CD player and I thought that the song, "Counting on Me." fitted Marik because his father was always controlling him and his evil Yami had to put an end to his father's existence. So here it is.

Why can't my father just shut his face?

Yami Marik then takes control

Marik then gains control again

While I just kept putting Mai down

Marik then walks away, gripping a knife with his blood on it.
A/N: Okay, its finished. Some of you are wondering: "Yama, why does Marik have a knife?" The reason is that Marik was compensating Suicide, but luckily, he didn't kill himself, just cut a bit of his wrist, but not too deep. If anybody has any requests. I'll be ready for them.
