"Great. Just what I need, another mission. Look, why don't you find someone else to do your work for you."
"Because," replied Botan, "You're our only detective!"
"What happened to Kuwabara?"
"Sick."
"How about Hiei?"
"Broken leg."
"Kurama?"
"Um, well. He said he was 'busy', and knowing him, he's got another girl in."
"SHUT UP!!! That's just wrong, okay? Jesus, I'm gonna be scarred for life!"
"Besides, Lord Koenma says that you're the only man for the job."
"Really?"
"Yep!"
"Well, if it means that much to the little thumb sucker, fine."
"Yay! I knew you'd see things my way."
"So, what's the job?" asked Yusuke.
"This mission will be more difficult than any you've taken on yet. When you defeated Suzaku, his brother vowed to avenge his death. He has taken 50 people hostage, and will throw them into the Pit of Endless Despair unless Koenma gives him control over all of Spirit World!"
"So why don't you let him?"
"It is our policy NEVER to let any humans get hurt, even if it means letting a suspect escape."
"Just frickin' perfect."
"Alright then. Let's go."
"What? How are we gonna get there?"
"With this?"
Botan reached into her pocket* and pulled out a beeping, whirring ball.
"So, what the hell is this?"
"A Spirit Teleporter. You can use it to go between the Spirit World and your world."
"Handy."
"Alright, let's go!"
