The End and New Beginning
Part 1
Shannon swung her head from side to side, in the next room her mother was dying. Shannon knew that she and her twin sister Auska would soon have to fend for them selves.
'Auska,' croaked her mother, Auska looked up her eyes were red from crying, 'bring me the album.'
Auska walked across to the bookcase, picking up a black leather bound album, she kneeled next to her mother's bed, the fragile woman ran her hand through Auska's red/black hair.
'Here,' she choked, pulling out a picture of Shannon and Auska's father. 'This picture was taken twelve years ago. He left when your sister and you were two, his name's Goku.' Starting to cough, Auska stood up to get the medicine, turning around she screamed.
Shannon ran in when she heard Auska scream, 'Auska,' she whispered, as she realized what had happened, noticing her dead mother's body.
'This is a picture of dad,' said Auska, holding the picture for Shannon to see.
'Get all the clothes you need, I'll worry about food,' ordered Shannon, turning around and leaving her late mother's room.
An hour later Auska left her room wearing her green gi over a dark blue t-shirt, her long hair was pulled back in a plait, wearing her sword on her back she exited the house. Just carrying a small bag of clothes, and at the top where a couple of capsules of things like albums she wanted to take with her.
Shannon had been outside for about 10 minutes when Auska appeared, Shannon was wearing a black tank top, loose blue jeans with faded knees, boots and a jacket, her sword was also tied to her back, her short black hair was in a ponytail. At her feet was a bag of her clothes and in the other bag was enough food to feed the demi-Sayians for a week.
'Father, you're going to pay for what you did to mom!' called Shannon angrily, as they took off, Shannon let off a small ki blast blowing up their old home.
