This is an actual sequel poem dealy to Scarlet Horizon. Can you make a
poem sequel? Dunno, o well along with the story. Billy is alone and
thinking about his lost love. I wrote this poem for Sarine cause she asked
me to. Its from Billy's point of view. I hope those who liked my last one
will enjoy this one too!
Simple Roses
Alone and cold
In this flurry of despair
Walking with unsure thoughts
Through a mystic like snow
Once comforting in childhood dreams
Bitter snow falls upon my wounded soul
As I ramble this forsaken forest
Clenching a simple rose
Frosted with ice, blood, and tears
I wonder what could have been
And why I left you behind
Snow crunching beneath these blood stained boots
I look to the gray unforgiving sky
Warmth only coming from forgotten tears
Reach the white rose that faded so long ago
Did you care for me as I as loved you
I shall never know
All the hope that I once had serrated
Dropping the rose unto your forgotten tombstone
I look through teary eyes upon so many others
Then drop to my dirty hands and knees
No longer able to make a sound of my agony
I sit dropping silent tears
Wanting only your forgiveness
That I shall never receive
