Love Beyond Any Other
A/N: This is not my story, but the original had no names for the characters. I don't know where this story came from but its a bit sad. Enjoy......
Kari was very happy one day. Everything seemed perfect. She had recently started dating Davis. It wasn't after a while until she fully realized how much Davis cared for her and then how much she in return cared for him. Everyone could see that they loved each other dearly.
Today the pair were going to ride up the mountain and find a little spot where they could look down at the city.
Kari: "Ready to go?"
Davis: "Yep, get on,"
He got on his motorcycle and put his helmet on. Kari got on behind him and they headed to the mountains. It was getting dark and Davis was speeding towards the mountain. They still weren't out of the city yet and he wanted to get to their destination for it got too late. Kari was starting to get scared though.
"Slow down!" yelled Kari.
"No, this is fun!" Davis yelled back.
"This is not fun! Slow down!"
"Then tell me that you love me!"
"I love you! Now will you slow down?!"
"And now give me a hug!"
Kari gave a tight hug around his waist, hoping it would make Davis slow down.
"NOW will you slow down?"
"Ok, but take my helmet will ya? It's bugging me. Oh and give me a kiss on the cheek."
Kari took the helmet and kissed Davis. Then she put the helmet on herself.
The next day in the newspaper their was a story of two people on motorcycle crashed into a building because the brakes were shot. Only one person survived.
Halfway down the road Davis realized the brakes were broken, but he didn't want Kari to know or else she was be truly scared. Instead he heard her say "I love you" one last time, her hug one last time, and her kiss one last time. Then he had her wear his helmet so that she could live, even though it meant he would die..........
