The world was coming to an end.

I knew it, it scared me. I clutched my little pillow and whispered prayers.

'No... no... this can't be... this can't be that 'Third Impact'... not now! I still haven't told that I love...'

My thoughts silenced for a second to get the courage to say the name of the person I secretly loved.

'RITSUKO!'

I felt hands grab me. I gasped and turned around. It was...

RITSUKO!

I gasped again, out of joy. Ritsuko! The woman I loved! She was hugging me!

I laughed out of pleasure.

Ever since I worked for NERV I lost all my happiness.

I was never 'happy'.

Sure, when we beat the Angels, that was good.

But it wasn't happy.

But now I was.

I smiled a genuine smile.

I was actually happy.

Ritsuko passed through me and typed a simple three word sentence.

'i need you.'

I cried and felt the embrace one more.

I was really happy!
