Dark Salvation

There is nothing in this world
Worth believing in, nothing.
All will fade to eternal despair.
Light, love, hope and dreams
Are the folly of mankind.
The lie to keep us moving,
Marching toward the dark abyss.
I do not live in this fantasy world,
Where light and hope are uplifted.
You cannot fight the darkness,
It is all consuming.
And so I wait for it,
My light and salvation.
