Kairi's Side:
I awoke to the sun streaming down upon my face from a window at the top of my wall. I wished I could stay in bed a few more minutes, but I knew I must start my day.
I pulled off my covers slowly and yawned. It was just then I realized today was the day we built a raft. I moved much more quickly now
First I opened my closet looking through for a nice outfit. By the way I know most characters wear the same thing through the entire story, but the truth is we just weren't home so we couldn't change our clothes, duh! Anyways, I choose my favorite shirt and shorts and hurriedly put them on. I rushed into the bathroom. I combed my hair and brushed my hair, foregoing taking a shower.
I rushed downstairs, said goodbye to my parents, and grabbed a piece of toast as I rushed out the door. I downed the toast and ran around a corner straight into Sora!
"Oof. that hurt you.", Sora said as he looked up. (This is where the story begins to change.)
"Sorry Sora, I didn't mean to", I whimpered.
"Oh, sorry Kairi I thought you were someone else."
"It's ok, Are you ready for today?"
"Yeah, how about we name our little vessel of fun Highwind.", Sora suggested.
Just then Riku walked up with a doll in hand.
"I like Excalibur better", Riku complained
"How about you two race for it.", I suggested. By the way it was ME who suggested the race to name the raft.
"Ok then", agreed Riku.
"Ten minutes from now, we'll race in the race course.", Sora decided.
"Ok", I agreed, "but until then you've got to get things for the raft."
So I gave the boys their separate lists, and went off about my business
