A/N If I seem to miss important characters it's because I've read only 1,2,4,5,6,7,8,8a,9,11,11a,and 11b. So please don't yell at me if I miss crucial characters.

Dusk had fallen as sweetly as it always had. The Howling Rock tribe *I think that's what they're called* was waking up to a new night. After the incident at Howling Rock, the tribe had had to move elsewhere. Their new home was a dense forest full to the brim with food, and completely empty of humans.

On the horizon they saw four figures approaching. The whole tribe went on alert. They all hid carefully in the trees and Redlance made sure that thorn bushes surrounded them on the ground. Ember sent to the tribe.

**Don't attack unless they're an obvious threat. They don't seem to be humans. **

Indeed, Ember was correct. It was four elves that were approaching, though they were not any that they knew of. The four stopped to sit on several boulders that were positioned in front of the forest. They did not appear to be a threat.

The strongest looking one was a young female with long braided gold hair and steel eyes. She bore two daggers at her sides and was fairly muscular. Two others were young cubs, one male, and one female. The male cub had a small dagger at his side, but the other had nothing. The fourth was an old woman, who had only a walking stick. All wore clothing suited for cold weather.

A roar from the forest put the young woman on alert, for she drew both daggers and was poised for attack. A large bear came charging out of the forest. The Wolfriders were about to attack, but Ember's send halted them. **No! I want to see how they handle it. **

The woman dodged the bear's first attack and grazed its left side. It charged again. This time, the bear caught a hold of her leg, but she drove the dagger into its heart and through its eye. It fell dead. She opened the lifeless jaws and freed her leg. She tried to stand but failed.

**Let's help them. ** sent Pool.

**I agree. ** Ember replied.
