Freedom

What is freedom, really?
Does anyone specifically know?
There are those who believe it to be
doing what they prefer;
then there are others who simply think
of freedom as just boldness, frankness,
or political independence.
My vision of freedom is different.
Freedom to me,
is being on a ship.
Sailing on the ocean;
completely oblivious to the world around you.
Being one with the crystal blue sea.
Smelling the sweet salty air.
Not having a single care in the world.
and where the only love in your life
is the ocean.
Where the only real support you need
is that of the wondrous sea.
That is my vision of freedom.
