This is a note from Arwen sent Aragon days before she dies after being gravely ill
Dear My Love,
I didn't think I would have the heart to tell you this,but I have fallen gravely ill. I don't think I will ever make to by queen. If I don't there is something I would like to tell you. I have always loved you. Even when my father wanted me to go to Valinor all I could think about was you. I know that elves and men should not marry. For elves are immortal and men are not. We all have been given chances. My chance is that I want to be with you. I can't think about the days that will come after you are crowned king,but if I am not alive by then,then I know you will make a great king and that I will always be will you. If there is by some chance that I am still alive after this war is over,then all I would love is spend the rest of my days with you. Even though my father does not want us to marry,he would give him strength to see you become king. You come home to where you were born to be. That is the truth,my king oh Gondor. I will always be with you.
