From the Journal of Captain Ilkanta:
iThe seas are peaceful and all is a picture of tranquility. This means alot to me, as you should know, my Journal- for the past season or so your pages have been filled with memories of shed blood and drastic loses- infact, I recall that one of your pages are written in blood- no ink in sight and only a few opened up dead corpses- and I have to honor my vow to my father to write in you every day as long as I am able to pick up a quill. Maybe, someday when the breath is gone from my body and you still exist, you might be carefully kept away somewhere or put on display, a reminder of the bloody days of battle. As you should know, the vow I took to my father on his deathbed was to ensure that I would pen down everything in thee so as we may remember, and to make sure, as long as I could, that the future captains of this ship would do likewise.
Ah, what a time it must be when I can put down my pen for good and you can stop having your already old pages flipped and written on. Everybeast can see the reason why our beloved ship was not restored to a more- suitable name, now that it no longer serves beasts of evil. Chaosbringer is a name that also reminds us of our past, of our forefathers and what they did upon this ship, so as we will never forget.
Forgive me for trailing off- I am supposed to write what is happening today, not dwell along in the past- or the future, for that matter. As I have said, it is peaceful and good and everything is normal- Pachael is still drunk and singing a drunkard's ballad, Elator is still serving up meals as good as any other, and my mother is still telling me that I'm a fine figure of a fox.
The island of Mythica looks lovely in the moonlight, I realise. It is the very picture of paradise. In a day we would have reached the shores and delivered supplies. Ah yes- I know, our ship is a massive war galleon! Ah- but now, since there is no need for war, we might as well act cargo-ship while we patrol the seas, eh?
I must go now, Journal, for the day grows late and the candle in my lamp is almost depleted. I shall write in thee again!

Well, Journal, we've reached land and delivered the supplies we should, and taken up soem cargo ourselves. I've just realised what luckybeasts we are- we're a supply carrying war galleon- most pirates would be upon us in a flash, quickly gaining some loot and a good fighting ship- oops! Sorry for that ink stain, now there's a big nasty black blotch on this page.
We've delivered supplies, taken a break and we're already setting off to Legendra isle, a few days away. On the bright side, however, at least we're not doing so under the bombardment of ruthless pirates!
It is as peaceful as it was yester-
