So, I decided to write some of my own good news/ bad news second chance things for the games that didn't include them. I'm not going to do Secrets Can Kill since they covered that in the re-mastered version. Please note some of these may reveal the culprit, so read at your own risk. I will write and publish the next ones when I get the chance.

A simple a re-write of the opening scene of Midnight in Salem, with Nancy Drew and Deirdre Shannon in a sort of novelization of their conversation of Nancy coming to Salem. (NOTE: no intent to finish or build upon, I liked it enough to post and we all know how the game ends anyway LOL)

What if it was Jane Penvellyn who was the human child who went to Candle Cove instead of Janice? (Note that I'm only working with Kris Straub's original creepypasta and not the expanded fanon.)

A short parody of the eerie nature of the Dry Creek ghost town in The Secret of Shadow Ranch. Based on a running joke in a Nancy Drew fanmade server on Discord, with my own unexpected spin of a guest appearance. Nancy goes to Dry Creek to check out Dirk Valentine's jail cell, only to meet with a really weird "second chance" option.

A Sonny/Minette fic for my friend Karen for a gift exchange on a Nancy Drew fan Discord. I probably screwed up some of what canon there actually is regarding Sonny's time in Paris, since it's been ages since I've played Danger by Design. And there might be a few references to Tomb of the Lost Queen.

A parody ad for the Pancake City restaurant in Alibi in Ashes, set to the M83 song "Midnight City."

Post-DDI, Katie Firestone becomes a regular customer at the Hot Kettle Cafe, where she ends up being friends with Jenna Deblin. Also, I may end up working in a new mystery surrounding the history at the cafe.

Nancy goes to Wales with Bess, George, and Ned for a normal vacation. But because mysteries never let Nancy take an Actual Vacation, the Hardy Boys show up and get Nancy and her friends wrapped up in a dangerous search for a lost piece of the history of King Arthur.
