Prologue

Dear Journal,

I'm Liz Parker and I'm now in my senior year. My best friend is Max Evans and he's been my friend for as long as I can remember. I have had a crush on Max Evans since I was 13. Max has never known. I could never tell him because I was to shy. I am scared for when the of end of year comes to end. I will be going to college in Boston. Journal I'll tell you all the reasons I am in love with Max.

Max understands me in ways that no one else could. I can talk to him when my parents are fighting. He is a kind person and shy like me. I can't tell you how in love with Max I am.

After Liz stops writing in her journal she hears a knock on her window. Who none other than Max Evans.

Liz?

Max what are you doing here?

I have to talk to you. What do we have to talk about this late at night?
