Sam leaps into a Los Angeles social worker in 1988. His mission: prevent the deaths of a child actress and her mother at the hands of her abusive father in a double murder-suicide. However, the obvious solution may lead to the deaths happening earlier. Can he manage to resolve this seeming no-win scenario? Rated T for language and mentions of child and spouse abuse. R&R!
