Hello!
This ficette is based on one of my favorite DDR songs called "Moonlight Shadow". I hope you like it!
Note: NO FLAMES!!! And I don't want to get any email's saying "Why didn't that bitch call for help?!" or "I would have chased the shooter you ass"!! Trust me, if you were in this girl's situation, you would be all on the edge too.
Also, this is like a stand alone fic, part of a series. Basically, she's talking to her dead fiancee. So you're reading her "conversation with him".
Just so you know, "Ai-chan" means "Love". It's a term of endearment. Read on!

I long to be in your arms again. You make me feel warm, loved and desired. Since the day you left, I've been holding onto hope that I'll see you again.

Our date had gone so perfect. Sometimes I wonder how we could share so much love.. We walked hand in hand under the Cherry Blossom Trees in the late night breeze. You gave me your sweater so I wouldn't be cold, remember? It was warm from your body and love.

Far away on the other side
He was caught in the middle of a desperate fight
And she couldn't find how to push through
The trees that whisper in the evening

All I saw from the other side of the park when I turned was a gun. We were too far away for me to see the shooter. Everything happened in slow motion after that.
We heard loud explosions, then I heard your pain laced screams. I turned to you but I was too late. You were on the ground, holding your stomach and chest.
I screamed as I dropped down next to you. I moved your hands praying that your were just grazed and in shock. But it wasn't so. Six small holes were in your shirt and even in the dark, I could see the blood staining your clean white shirt a rose red.
//All she saw was a silhouette of a gun

He was shot six times by a man on the run
And she couldn't find how to push through...//
Despite all that, I held you to me, trying to give you part of my life so you will live. You looked into my eyes and I gazed back into the sapphire gems I had grown to love. You were so brave. You didn't cry or whimper.
Then you opened your mouth & said your last words to me.
"I love you. I'll wait for you Ai-chan..."
I sobbed harder knowing that you were really dying...leaving. I leaned over and kissed your pale lips and felt you return it before your went still and close to death. I hear yours sweet sigh one last time, then you were gone.

I mourned in the moonlight. Since you left, I often sit in the spot where you died at that night. Thinking about our love and plotting revenge about who stole it from us.
Dressed in my black combat suit, I sit holding my katana waiting. Carefully I finger the diamond studded cross on the black leather choker. Your engagement gift to me. A tear slides down my face...
Silently I wait for destiny to cross our paths again. Until then, I'll forever hunt the murderer that caused our pain.
