Chapter 1 Kenshin came home after a ruthless training session with Seijuurou Hiko to Kaoru standing at the front of the dojo in her purple kimono and yellow flowers speckled over it. As Kenshin looked at her he saw an angel with beautiful cherry blossoms floating down from the trees and falling into the stream behind her making a ring around every cherry blossom as they floated away. Even though the cherry blossoms reminded him of Tomoe and his bloody times of the revolution he still thought Kaoru standing there was the most beautiful thing. He walked towards her and as she always did she stated welcome home Kenshin. He greeted her with his smile that was fake and not from the depths of his heart as usual. They sauntered into the dojo and Kenshin saw that Sanoske was sitting next to Megumi Takani and they were having a civilized conversation he thought that was amazing he never had seen them talk with each other without some loud ranting about something wrong with the other. He thought that there must be something wrong for everyone to be acting so civilized with each other. Kenshin sat down and Kaoru asked if he wanted some sake he said yes and was surprised that Megumi had not exploded? Something was wrong!! : |
