AWAY IN A TOWER
To the tune of Away in a Manger

Away in a tower, called Orthanc, it's said
Old Wormtongue is hanging his cowardly head
His master will scold him, make him rue the day
That he dared to toss the Palantir away

Saruman climbs the stairs and old Wormtongue shakes
With each falling footstep he quivers and quakes
His once loyal servitude now gone awry
A nervous tear hangs on the edge of his eye

Oh, Wormtongue, you took a bad misstep today
By throwing that sacred Palantir away
If we could, we'd help to rid you of this scare
But frankly, dear Wormtongue, we don't really care.
