In my opinion, the ending of the episode didn't adequately deal with the emotional baggage that HAD to be going on! A mysterious girl shows up on the scene that the team bump into one night. There's just something there that grabs the teams' attention but they can't explain it. Just who is this girl and what is her connection to the team and one of them personally?

Mason has some dark thoughts after receiving a sinister prediction from a precognitive New Mutant.

Shalimar's pretty sure she's supposed to be too old to be having a queer crisis, but there's just something about Emma... So it seems like something of a blessing when her feral nature takes what should be a run of the mill attraction to Richard Saunders and turns it up to eleven. After all, she doesn't have to examine her feelings for Emma if she's busy not thinking with Richard.

Adam send Shalimar and Brennan to save two young new mutants but something happens before they reach their destination. BS

After rescuing a lab full of new mutants, the team must figure out what experiments were being done in order to save one of their own... Jesse centric but whole team and several OCs are there.
