Natalie sat in the control room really early in the morning. Barley anyone was there, just the janitors who cleaned up every night after the show. With her head in her hands she thought about all the changes going on around her. Dana and Casey fighting, Isaac's stroke, Dan and Rebecca, her and Jeremy.and something else she was still having trouble believing herself. She sat up and walked around the room thinking of all the great times she had had there, not to mention all the bad ones. Then a feeling of sadness came over her when she realized how much she was going to miss the building and the people she worked with. She walked out onto the SPORTS NIGHT filming floor and boosted herself onto the desk. Just then Dana walked in. "Hey Nat, you're here rather early." She said walking over to her. "So are you." Natalie replied. "Why are you here, you don't need to be here until about a hour before to 2:00 run-down?" Natalie asked folding her legs Indian style. " I wanted to be here early so I could change the ten block and switch it with the 12 and I just wanted to leave myself time in case that screwed up the timing for the show. Why are you here?" "I just couldn't sleep and I had nothing better to do so I just came in." she replied. "And Jeremy let you come in alone? Don't you two usually come in to work together?" "He doesn't know I'm here. He was sleeping when I left. But I left a note." Natalie said. "Oh, alright." Dana said. Then she noticed the weird look on Natalie's face. "Hey, what's wrong? You seem awfully quiet today. It is not like you at all." "Yeah.. I mean no, no, no I'm fine. Totally fine. Nothing wrong here, just tired I guess." "Okay, if you say so. Well then if your fine I should get started on the 10 block." Dana said. She gave Natalie a friendly shove and left the room. As Dana walked away she felt guilty about not telling Natalie her big secret. Natalie was her best friends and this was important how could she not tell her? But then again, everyone would find out eventually, she couldn't hold it in for that long...
