My sword lies shattered at my side, my arrows have all been snapped in half and my bow stolen. . .how my heart bleeds for your touch, and still you do not come. I call to you but you do not answer. . .why? Why did you do this to me?
not tormented daily defeated by you
just when I thought I'd reached the bottom
I'm dying again
Where are you Zelda? Do you not care for me? Why did you leave me here, alone, to die? My heart aches and I still need you. . .after all, you brought me here. . .
I'm going under
drowning in you
I'm falling forever
I've got to break through
I'm going under
Why? I know why. You were scared. Scared to lose your own life to the King of Shadow, so you fled. And left me to be the sacrifice. How I can still love you, still feel for you, I do not know. You left me to die slowly. . .
blurring and stirring the truth and the lies
so I don't know what's real and what's not
always confusing the thoughts in my head
so I can't trust myself anymore
I'm dying again
What am I doing still alive? I should have killed myself already. Suicide is the only way to stop this pain. I have to do it. There is no other choice. I grab a shard of the Master Sword and plunge it into my aching heart. I gasp. My last breath.

Zelda rushed into the cave, the Great Fairy at her side. What she saw was nothing she would ever forget. Link, her only love, lay dead in the center of the small cave. A small piece of the Master Sword protruded from his chest.
"Link!" Zelda screamed. "Link wake up! LINK!!!!!" She burst into tears and fell to the ground on her knees.
"And to think we came here to help him," the Great Fairy said sadly. "He didn't want our help."
"Don't say that!" Zelda shrieked angrily. "He's not. . .he can't be. . ."
"He is," the Fairy told her. "And he will never again be otherwise. I'm sorry Zelda."
Zelda shook her head. "No. . .Link. . .Link, I love you. . ."
so go on and scream
scream at me I'm so far away
I won't be broken again
I've got to breathe I can't keep going under
