--After halo was destroyed and Master Chief and Cortana took off on a ship
they found in the Pillar of Autumn they took off and tried to finish the
beginning of this tretched time.
The ship rumbled and shook, Master Chief sighed angerly. When the ship stopped rumbling the Master Chief gave out another sigh yet this one seemed more of a releiving type of sigh. Ever since the Master Chief left the crash site of the Pillar of Autumn he couldn't stop thinking about Captain Keyes. He was a very good captain indeed and the Master Chief couldn't forget when he saw him for the last time, as a flood, as a parisitic life- form, one of them.
Out of the blue Cortana said, "We are approaching another ship, I can't tell if it is a covenant ship or one of our's, we're too far away."
"I think that its one of ours," the Master Chief replied.
"But what if your wrong? What if it is one of the covenant's ships? Then we would be in a bigger mess than we are now! That is a too big of risk to take," Cortana yelled.
"Then I'll see if they respond when I call through the radio system," Master Chief replied.
He reached to the microphone voice dispatcher thing and when he touched it it shocked him. Sparks flew across the room and he leaped back is surprise. "I forgot to tell you that it broke when one of the flood scraped off the attena when we left the docking station," Cortana said.
Master Chief sighed again but it wasn't a reliving sigh nor a anger sigh, it sounded more like a self-pity sigh. "Well we have got to get to that ship!" Master Chief stood up and hit the auto-pilot button. He paced up and down the ship. Cortana said, "But ,Chief, we cant take any-."
"We have to! We have no chance if we don't get help soon!" Master Chief yelled to Cortana.
He sat back down at the piloting seat and turned off the auto-pilot and pushed a couple of buttons and switched a couple of things and then pushed a leaver up until it couldn't go anymore. The ship took a sudden jolt forward and pushed Master Chief back in his seat.

"It is one of our ships, we are close enough to tell," Cortana said. The Master Chief looked up to see that it is one of his own ships.
They hurried to get to the ship. When they where about 500 yards away the ships loading dock's door had opened. "Looks like they know its us," Cortana said with relief.
"Seems good so far," Master Chief said. When they got into the ship and landed it Master Chief said to Cortana, "Something feels strange."
"What? What possible could be strange?" Cortana said alarmed. Mater Chief replied, "They've must have tried through the radio to talk to us, when we didn't answer they would have most likely tried to catch our attention, but so far I haven't seen them trying to catch our attention."
Master Chief went to the door and heard someone yelling very loudly, "We've got weapons and we know that you are going to react in hostile ways, so if I was you I would turn around right now!"
