Li Sakura rubbed her large stomach gently. 'Soon.' She thought. 'Hopefully Syaoran will be home before it is time.' She prayed that she was right.
Sakura's husband, Li Syaoran, was away from there home in Hong Kong on a business trip.
'It's late on Christmas Eve and our first child is almost ready to come!' She could hold it in no longer. She called to their nanny, Tomoyo, and said as calmly as possible. "Tomoyo-chan, my water broke, AND SYAORAN ISN'T HERE!"
Tomoyo dialed 911 and called for an ambulance and Sakura was taken away. Approximately fifteen minutes afterwards, Syaoran walked in the front door, expecting to see his wife smiling happily that he'd made it home in time for Christmas.
"Syaoran!" Tomoyo called out, running towards Syaoran. "Sakura's water broke! She is at the hospital right now! She is giving birth to your CHILD!"
Syaoran stood there, dumbstruck, until Tomoyo screamed "GO!" and he ran to his car hoping to make it there in time.

Sakura was in the delivery room pushing and praying that Syaoran got there soon.
The baby was half out when Syaoran ran into the room, sweat dripping down his face.
"SYAORAN!" Sakura shouted, half from surprise, half from relief.

The baby was born a girl at 2:07 am on Christmas day. She was the best gift either of them could ever have wished for.
"Let's name her Nadesico. After my Okaa-san." Sakura said happily, sighing form exhaustion.
"Yes." He agreed. He had made it home for the holidays.
