Gollum's Poem Continued
They do not see what lies ahead
When sun is faded and moon is dead.
They cannot hear what always screams
When it is light and brightness gleams.
They will not feel what senses kill
When senses dull and rise and fill.
They should not taste the silent air
When vile earth is waiting there.
Do not ask of what you seek
When your will is small and meek.
You might slip and you might fall
When you aren't strong enough to crawl.
It is my precious that I want,
When your footsteps I do haunt
I will get it, make no mistake.
When you die, my precious I will take.
