Based on the West End musical. "A journey is splendid, there's so much to learn. But once it has ended, you know you'll return." The journey to Mole End breaks Ratty's heart a little bit (not that he wants to admit it). Strong shades of Ratty/Mole, but Your Mileage May Vary.

Okay, it was the Red Lion Inn and it wasn't meant to be a joke (except the universe had other ideas) and if Badger had anything to say about it, no one would ever know the punchline. / The manner in which Badger learnt about the tunnels beneath Toad Hall wasn't nearly as dignified as he made it out to be. A oneshot in which Mole meets Toad's mother. It's a bit of a surprise for several reasons, really – not least of all because he had been fairly certain she was dead. It wasn't the first misunderstanding he'd encountered since leaving Mole End, but it might just have been the weirdest. / Predominantly inspired by the 2017 musical.

The friendship between Rat and Toad didn't dissolve as much as it fractured, and in the years that followed Rat continued to trip over the cracks. / A multichaptered, fragmented exploration of one possible interpretation of Toad and Rat's shared history, set in the 2017 musical.

There were some key social differences between an underground animal and a Riverbanker, but it had never occurred to Rat that relationship milestones might just be one such example. He probably shouldn't have realised this in the middle of refereeing a squash match though. / Set in the 2017 musical.

This is a (possibly heartwarming, but probably not) How-They-Met story...Mole, Toad, Badger and the Water Rat, come of age ala "Stalky & Co." or "Tom Brown" (or at worst "Billy Bunter") at school. Enjoy or criticise, I'm here all week.
