The way he was so honest with her about Teresa always amazed me. So this is a moment, I'm sure they would have at some point.

Part IV of Vague Places: Camila has a meeting with Batman, James continues to manipulate his boss, Teresa deciphers something from the notebook, and James sheds light on the Vargas' marriage.

Why do we love Teresa and James? Because of the people they were and the experiences they had, but most importantly because they gave us the hottest SLOW BURN ever! What is a slow burn? It's a character-driven relationship that takes time to develop, where the protagonists meet under tenuous circumstances and slowly invade each other's space, develop feelings and end up together!

It's easy and enjoyable getting in the heads of characters I love, but I will try to get in the head of the one I hate! I have decided to challenge myself as a writer!

The story takes place nine years after Teresa, James and Kelly Anne successfully escaped to Langebaan, South Africa, and five years after Pote served his sentence and joined them. The family goes around full circle and rediscover themselves in the process!

It isn't Teresa's future self that guides her; it's Concetta. A woman who's seen and endured some twisted shit. Concetta is the definition of a survivor and she'll do anything to keep surviving. James learns more about Pote and why he's with them in Dallas, has another confrontation with Camila, and grows closer with Teresa as they find some direction for her thirst for revenge against Epifanio.

Part Two of the Vague Places Series: James returns to Dallas to face Camila's wrath for his disappearance, and James and Teresa work on building their trust and friendship rather than plotting her revenge.
