"I want to know what's happened." Mother Six's voice was soft, but firm. The tone of imperial stature none could ignore and few would deny. Isen stood beside two other men and a woman - Minister Jonothan Brook, General Yleth, and Doctor Sylvia Hudson.

It was an awkward council, but a sure one. Science, government and military, best of the best, highest order and all gathered before Mother Six. Isen wondered why he was even needed here. He had done nothing, save spot the ship before anyone else. He tried to keep from fidgeting.

"Research vessel," said Minister Brook, shaking his head slightly, his tail mimicking the gesture. "At least, that's what they tell us. Humans, but slightly different than ours."

"In what way are they different, Minister?" inquired the Mother, watching the elderly gentleman with interest. Brook looked to Doctor Hudson, who cleared her throat, gaining Mother's Six's attention.

"Physically, their organs are slightly displaced. I was able to assert that much from a basic scan. They won't agree to a full examination. I think they key difference exist simply because they've never come into contact with xenomorphs. Their internal make up is also different in that the organs are bigger, but less efficient than ours. Where we've evolved to more comfortably and effectively house xenomorph fetuses, they have not. Obviously. Other than that, I can't find any outstanding differences." The Doctor smiled, thinly. "My non-professional diagnoses? They're incredibly materialistic, paranoid, suspicious and.oddly appropriate.xenophobic."

"The ones who saw me looked ready to faint, shoot, or scream. All three, perhaps," Isen volunteered, drawing the focus to him a moment. Mother Six was quiet, an encouragement to continue. Isen did. "When the ship landed and the crew disembarked, they already had weaponry loaded and at the ready. I agree with the Doctor, Mother. Paranoid and suspicious."

"Have they made any statement in regards to the purpose of their visit?" asked the great Mother.

Brook nodded, slightly. "Research, they say. They've been charting planets in hopes of discovering new worlds to colonize. I think they were very surprised when they saw humans had colonized Osh already."

"They've asked for permission to study the xenomorphs here on Osh," stated General Yleth gruffly. "The ship's captain and the head medical officer asked if you'd allow volunteers, if there are any, to come about their ship for some basic tests and interviews."
