Draco sighed and ran his fingers through his thin, blond hair. Summer had just started and he was already bored. Plus, the constant bickering between his parents was pissing him off to the greatest extent. All his friends were on vacation so there was no one to talk to or visit. As pathetic as it seemed, he wished he were back at Hogwarts. Then he could have some form of entertainment, especially with Potter. Picking on Potter, a very often and well-done pastime. Then there was his two bosom buddies: the Mudblood, Granger and the Weasley. He chuckled as he thought of how despicable the three were.
He grinned as an idea slowly occurred to him. He was sure he could find a hotel with vacancy in Muggle premises by Diagon Alley. There, he would 'accidentally' run into Potter and start something. It was all too good…
Now to get his father to agree on the trip.
Nonchalantly as he could, he walked into his father, Lucius's office. His father was pacing back and forth, his black robes, trailing behind his every step.
"Father," Draco said, quietly in his drawl.
Lucius turned abruptly towards him. "Yes Draco?"
"I was wondering if I could take a trip to London. You know, a small vacation. I might meet up with some friends also."
Lucius pondered for a moment, before waving his hand to shoo Draco away. "Yes, of course, of course. Pack your stuff. I shall withdraw some money from Gringotts for your expenses."
Draco nodded curtly, "Thank you father," and then proceeded to leave the room. He grinned maliciously as he thought of how good this was going to be.
It wasn't long before Lucius withdraw money from Gringotts and Draco was on his way, as well as Pansy Parkinson. He had owled her a few days before and explained quickly, but she quickly agreed to come, since Draco and her were 'an item'. Goyle and Crabbe had also owled him a day or two before he left and when he explained his trip, they agreed to meet up with him when they could.
The hotel Lucius had picked out was swank and sophisticated. It was located right on the outskirts of the London Eye and Diagon Alley so everything from the restaurants to the museums was at fairly easy access.
Draco stood and studied himself in the mirror. He had been fitted with Muggle clothes and he had to admit - he looked pretty damn good. His thoughts were interrupted by Pansy.
"Oh Draco, what do you think of this?" cried Pansy popping out from the adjoined room, throwing her arms like exaggeratedly above her head.
Unfortunately, the case for Pansy looking good was not the same as Draco's. He cringed slightly, then fake smiled and nodded, "Looks good Pansy."
She sighed and draped her arms around his neck from behind.
"Jesus," he muttered under his breath and tried to pull away.
"What was that?" Pansy asked, bringing her hands to her hips.
"Nuttin' at all Pansy." he said, brightly, faking it all of course.
"Well, my father gave me some kind of Muggle contraption called a credit card, I think. I am surely going to take advantage of. Their clothes are quite nice, as much as I hate to admit it," she said, adjusting her skirt.
Draco nodded.
Please leave already! he screamed in his head.
Pansy reached over and kissed his cheek. "See you later love!" she called, halfway out the door.
"Finally," he muttered and grinned.
Now it was time for him to have some fun.
