It's a typical day of the Nameless King during his time at Archdragon Peak.

An unlucky guy, Garret is pulled into the dark and depressing world of Dark Souls. As such, he decides to do the only sane thing one can do in such a situation, change the story for the better.

Dude wakes up in an asylum and gets a prophecy and a mission thrown in his face. Hilarity ensues (with lots of deaths).

As the chosen undead, she was destined to journey far and rekindle the flame. She was, however, not too keen on accomplishing this task given to her. Before becoming an undead, she was only a lowly warrior. Everything she does gets her in way over her head, yet a strange encounter ends up finding her being loyally served by a legendary Black Knight who is hellbent on being hers. AU

When the First Flame was snuffed out by the Ashen One it was expected that it would die for good, ushering in an eternal Age of Dark. But little embers remained. And these embers endured. In another land, a new champion rises to once again link the First Flame, traversing fallen nations and barren wastes to bring forth an Age of Fire.

This story is a retelling of the first Dark Souls, with a few twists and turns I intend to implement along the way. The main focus is on a Chosen Undead who, unlike others, is more similar to what humans should have been rather than her own kin. Although, just how far will those similarities go? And will she ever discover her more in regards to a past before she was branded?

Tempest and Ornstein have never met before. They both are sure that this is the first time they have met... so why have they dreamt about each other even before they met?

The Ashen One had returned to the Firelink Shrine once more to rest and further prepare for the journey ahead. Then, the Ashen one asks a strange question, and the Firekeeper soon learns exactly who this Unkindled Champion is.

"SOLAIRE!", she cried out in desperation. In that fleeting moment. I understood. I knew who I was. I was not simply a foolish knight seeking a ball of flame in the sky. No. I sought clarity. I searched for a light in the darkness, a candle in a cave, a sun. I realized: I found it. She is my Sun. My love.
