Once A Manslayer

Once a manslayer,

The most feared of them all,

His name Battousai,

Or so he was called.

Though as strong as he was,

He was still quite weak,

When compared to his master,

Hiko The Thirteenth.

He left before his training was complete,

Tired of seeing people hurt,

And always believing,

No one should be treated as dirt.

He didn't understand,

Though he had tried,

That the only way to help,

Was to fight for neither side.

By the time he understood,

It was to late,

The Revolution was over,

He had opened the gate.

He then became a wanderer,

To repent for those he'd slain,

For ten years her traveled,

Day after day.

He was once a manslayer,

The one known as Battousai,

Then he became a wanderer,

An all 'round nice guy.
