The darkness came upon me like the closing of an eye. You can't honestly say "life is a bitch" until some twisted bastard gouges your fucking eyes out. At first you think "shit", then you think "I'll adjust", but then you realise that being blind just really sucks ass. It's like having your worst nightmare ever, and knowing you're never going to wake up from it. Fucker. I always used to think that life had screwed me over. Then the world went black.
