Haku is going to be taking over the bathhouse but before he can Haku must pick a wife, but there's only one person he sees when he pictures his wife. Chihiro had settled into her young adult life after highschool and started working towards her dream job when it's turned upside down.

Haku and Chihiro reunited after three years!

Now 16, Chihiro goes back to her old hometown with her family. After her parents get sick from an unknown illness spreading there, Chihiro is determined to find a cure. She doesn't know that through her search she'll be reunited with someone dear from her past - a very angry god. TW / Death

My name is Chihiro, a young japanese girl. I fairly enjoy my daily life, in a simple and ordinary fashion. However, sometimes, I still find myself dreaming about there, about then ; about this peculiar elsewhere that I came across. But the memories are fading, slowly... Maybe, I would like to go back? I smile at the idea. We, living humans, after all, don't belong amongst spirits.

Chihiro's memories of the spirit realm have been wiped clean since her departure. Her only memories of the world she had grown fond of is the tunnel that lead to it, and her entering and exiting with her parents- nothing in between. After her witnessing her father pass from cancer, she decides she will do anything to find true happiness. (lHakuxChihiro fluff in future chapters)

Chihiro is 18 years old, and is an outcast from her friends and family. After having wrote letters to Kohaku since she left the spirit world and having no response, she decides to leave her life behind to gather up her courage and enter the mysterious and horrifying world to not only find Haku, but to experience once again what it was like to feel free.

The years passed her by, the minutes ticked away, and the regret became greater and greater. If she could, she would've gone back in time just to see him again. She tried to imagine instances when he could've come back in those fifteen years. Those instances could have been reality, but he made her wait and time passed her by. (Long Drabbles)

Chihiro Ogino, 17, is the president of the "Japanese Folklore Research Society", condescendingly dubbed the "Occult Club" by most of Tofugu High. Chihiro has struggled, suffered and pulled through the worst that life has to offer. Her only wish was to meet Haku again, yet she wasn't prepared for what awaited her on the other side. Something mysterious is happening in the spirit world, will Chihiro be a part of it? This is a story about suffering, learning to trust and move on from past experiences.

Almost 10 years to the day when he last saw his friend, Haku finds himself in a strange position. He has been offered to return to the humanworld to see his river be reborn, but it requires him to bind himself to an unknown person for a while. All he want's is to keep his promis to his friend, but to do that he has to take a risk. Will He reunite with Chihiro? Read to find out.

This fanfiction takes place five years after Spirited Away ends, I know I'm a little late with the whole Ghibli thing buuuuut... pls enjoy anyways! (It's also based on the English dub version)

In this story we get to follow Chihiro and Haku as they grow. They meet several times over the years and expands their friendsship and unbeknownst to them, their love for eachother.

10 years after leaving the Spirit World, Chihiro longs to return to her Haku. 10 years after the first humans in decades arrive and leave, Haku longs for his Chihiro to return. 10 years after being in darkness, one spirit is ready to face the light and claim what he thinks is his.

But she was.

Chihiro hasn't seen Haku since that night 3 years ago. She had just begun her second year at high school and had started making friends. But when a Youkai shows up in front of her and her friends and tells them that Haku has been kidnapped by Fûjin, god of the wind, she and her friends must enter the spirit world to find Haku.
